One One One Restaurant Lounge & Gallery is 25 miles east of Saratoga Springs, on the banks of the Battenkill river, in the historic village of Greenwich NY.

Set in the fringes of the Adirondack Mountains, One One One is located in an historic district a few minutes away from the historic Battles of Saratoga, which marked the Turning Point in the Revolutionary War, is right in the center of the battle trail which connected Vermont, Canada and Albany during the French and Indian War, and also nudges up against the famous Champlain Canal which figured so strongly in the economic development of the whole New York State.

Greenwich is also the home of Susan B. Anthony, and the historic Quaker Meeting Houses she attended continue on today as the meeting houses for local Friends. Greenwich, which has a rich and varied history dating back to before the Revolutionary War, is best known for its large number of Abolitionists, and the many houses which served as the Underground Railroad in these parts. Slaves, coming up from the Troy area, following the Hudson River, often sought sanctuary in the many houses in both Easton and Greenwich on their way north to Canada and to freedom.

It is also the home of the Washington County Fair in August, a Whipple City Festival in June and all year round full of some of the nicest and more varied of gift stores and boutiques in the area. Greenwich is just about 15 minutes away from the historic opera house and current venue of Hubbard Hall, where dance, musicals and dramas are performed regularly. In addition to Hubbard Hall, Cambridge is also the home of the New Skete Monastery, an Orthodox Catholic monastery offers traditional worship in its glorious icon-rich chapel every evening, a gift shop full of the Monks of New Skete wares, such as their famous dog training materials, their famous smoked meats, and the Nuns of New Skete Cheesecake
. Cambridge hosts a Hot Air Balloon Festival every June.Heading to Salem, again only a 15 minute drive, there are great farm stands, the Old Salem Historic Courthouse, which hosts many craft and art classes and is home to a New-to-you boutique. Salem is also on the way to Gardenworks at Southerland Farms, a destination in itself. Blueberry and raspberry picking, dried flower arrangement workshops, and a huge assortment of specialty foods and home accessories make it worth the trip.
